Ulster Unionist MLA Ross Hussey has supported calls that a grossly offensive Facebook page be closed down.
The West Tyrone MLA said:
“I have been made aware of the existence of a Facebook page called ’Dead baby jokes’ and I am absolutely disgusted that anyone would find the death of a child in any way amusing. I really wonder about what type of person would set up such a page.
This is clearly a deeply offensive page and is the cause of further pain and suffering to those families who have suffered the trauma of the loss of a child.
I am calling on Facebook to remove this page immediately and to take steps to ensure that such deeply offensive pages cannot be displayed there.”
