Copeland welcomes new initiative to prevent young people in Castlereagh becoming caught up in crime

East Belfast MLA, Michael Copeland has welcomed the introduction on a music and multi-media bus which has been designed to help prevent young people in the Castlereagh area from becoming involved with crime.

The Ulster Unionist said:

“This new bus provides an innovative way to prevent young people from becoming caught up in crime.  It will provide teenagers in Tullycarnet and Ballybeen with a new place to spend their spare time and will help them to develop new skills.’

“This bus is a positive step forward in helping to make East Belfast safer.  This new facility is also a symbol of what a joined up approach, as has been taken by the local community with bodies sucha s Castlereagh Borough Council, can achieve.’
