Hussey remembers 14th Anniversary of Omagh Bomb

Ulster Unionist West Tyrone MLA Ross Hussey has paused to remember the 14th anniversary of the 1998 Omagh bomb atrocity and re-stated his support for the families in their quest for justice.

Mr Hussey said:

“Fourteen years ago today terrorists came to Omagh, planted a bomb, murdered 29 people and two unborn twins and injured more than 200 others.

It was a tragic day for Omagh and will never be forgotten by anyone who is from the town or has Omagh roots.

The families of the dead and injured are in our prayers at this time.

We fully support the families in their quest for justice and to see the perpetrators of this barbaric crime receive the punishment they deserve.”
