Upper Bann Ulster Unionist MLA Jo-Anne Dobson has condemned last night’s violent incident in the Parkmore area of Craigavon in which a 45 year old man was fatally stabbed.
Mrs Dobson said:
“My sympathies go out to the family of the man who died of a stab wound following an altercation outside a house in the Parkmore area of Craigavon in the early hours of Sunday morning.
It seems to me that far too many people are prepared to resort to violence these days without a single thought for the devastating consequences of their actions and now a man is dead.
I know this incident will have shocked the local community and I would urge local people to assist the Police in every way possible to ensure that the person or persons responsible are brought swiftly to justice.
