Ulster Unionist Culture spokesperson, Robin Swann MLA has condemned the latest attack on Clifton Street Orange Hall.
Robin said:
“This attack on Clifton Street Orange Hall is totally abhorrent. In a week when we heard much about the need for respect and tolerance of all traditions in this country, this latest attack on the hall shows that there is still an unsavoury element out there that are still intent on attempting to intimidate members of other cultures.’
“Those responsible for this attack seek only to try and heighten tensions in the area. There is much good work being done on the ground to improve community relations in North Belfast and I hope that this attack is not a set back to that good work.’
