The Ulster Unionist Party has congratulated the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the news that they are expecting their first baby in the New Year.
Party Leader, Mike Nesbitt MLA, has also wished the Duchess well as she receives treatment for severe morning sickness.
"This is fantastic news for the couple, for the Monarchy and for Her Majesty's loyal citizens. The Queen's Jubilee and the Olympic Games gave the whole of the United Kingdom a renewed sense of cohesion this year, and there is no doubt that over the next six months, there will be common cause in hoping for a healthy pregnancy and birth for the child who will become the third in line to the Throne.’
