Ulster Unionists again condemn Alliance, Sinn Fein and SDLP for non-attendance at Assembly Commission

The Ulster Unionist representative on the Assembly Commission, Leslie Cree MLA, has condemned the Alliance, Sinn Fein and SDLP for once again failing to turn up at a Commission meeting.

North Down MLA Mr Cree said:

“Today’s meeting of the Assembly Commission did not take place once again thanks to the non-attendance of the Alliance, Sinn Fein and SDLP representatives who simply failed to turn up.

They have disrespected the democratic process and the irony is not lost that they expect others to respect the democratic process when a vote goes in their favour at Belfast City Hall, yet they will not honour the democratic process in the Assembly Commission.”
