Kinahan condemns Antrim attacks

The Ulster Unionist Party’s South Antrim MLA Danny Kinahan has condemned the recent attacks which have taken place in Antrim Town.

Mr Kinahan said:

“I utterly condemn the incidents which have blighted Antrim town in the past two nights. In the early hours of Monday morning two boats were set alight outside a house in Craigshill in the Ballycraigy estate, and on Monday night three attacks took place in the Firmount Drive of Antrim Town with one property being set alight.

These events have both shocked and angered local people and I am in no doubt that we could have been dealing with a tragedy.

Whoever is responsible for any of these incidents must be stopped and I would therefore appeal to anyone who can assist the ongoing Police investigations to come forward immediately and help ensure the safety of the public in Antrim town.”
