Ulster Unionist MEP Jim Nicholson has expressed his sadness upon hearing of the death of 10-year-old Aaron Macauley following an accident on a farm near Castlewellan.
Mr Nicholson said, “I cannot begin to imagine the grief his family are experiencing and I wish to extend my most sincere sympathies to them at this heart-breaking time.
“In this past year in Northern Ireland, deaths following farming accidents have tragically been too frequent. I strongly plead with everyone to take great care whilst on a farm.”
