Kinahan commends PSNI on drugs seizure in Antrim

South Antrim MLA, Danny Kinahan has commended the PSNI after they recovered more than £600,000 worth of cannabis in Antrim. 

The Ulster Unionist said: 

“I would congratulate the PSNI on successfully preventing this substantial haul of cannabis from making its way onto our streets.  I know that this news will be welcome in the local community.’ 

“I was briefed by the local Police Commander a few weeks ago on what the PSNI were doing to halt the scourge of drugs in our community.  To be successful in their fight against those producing and selling drugs such as cannabis, it is vital the PSNI have the help and support of the community.’ 

“I would urge the public to report any suspicious activity which they think could be connected to the production or sale of Cannabis, or any other drugs to the PSNI on 0845 600 8000 or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
