Ulster Unionist Minister Danny Kennedy MLA with Glyn Roberts from NIIRTA and Colin Neill from Pubs of Ulster as they welcome news that two private car parks in Belfast city centre have dropped their prices for Christmas. Minister Kennedy called on other private car parks to reduce their pricing too.
Mr Kennedy said: "This is great news for shoppers and traders. I would like to see other private car parks reduce their pricing too.
"It complements the measures I introduced last month as part of my Christmas package for Belfast. These included free Park and Ride services during late night shopping days and also on Saturdays. Fare promotions and an embargo on road works over the Christmas period also helps traders, shoppers and road users."
