West Tyrone Ulster Unionist MLA Ross Hussey has said that he is honoured to be appointed by the Justice Minister David Ford as a Trustee of the RUC GC Foundation.
Mr Hussey said;
“As a former part time police officer who had the honour to serve with the Royal Ulster Constabulary GC Reserve I have a very strong interest in ensuring that the good name and sacrifice of the RUC regular, full time Reserve and part time Reserve is not forgotten.
“I regard it as an honour to be able to play my part with fellow Trustees in taking forward plans to ensure the museum and other related projects for the future are implemented. I also put on record my thanks to my colleagues in the Policing Board for their support of my nomination.”
