The Ulster Unionist Council Candidates for Newry, Mourne & Down Council have nominated today for the 2014 Local Government Election.
Ulster Unionist Party Leader, Mike Nesbitt MLA said:
“I was delighted to the join the Newry, Mourne and Down team as they nominated for the forthcoming Local Government Elections. We have a very strong team of candidates standing for the new ‘Super Council’ and I am confident that they are all focused on making the areas they are seeking to represent better places to live, work and socialise.’
“Along with our European Candidate, Jim Nicholson MEP, the Ulster Unionist Party is offering the electorate a credible alternative and I know that if you give them a chance on the 22nd May they will provide strong representation and dedicate themselves to doing what’s right for Northern Ireland.’
