Danny Kinahan MLA, Ulster Unionist spokesperson on the Economy, has welcomed an announcement by airline Jet2 that they will be creating 86 new jobs at Belfast International Airport.
The South Antrim MLA said:
“This announcement is really fantastic news. The 86 jobs which are being created will provide employment across many areas of the airline’s operation.’
“Not only does this announcement give us a boost with extra jobs being created at Belfast International Airport, it also includes news of flights to new destinations. This demonstrates the confidence in the market here.’
“This news will be extremely welcome not only for the local economy, but also to those who will be able to enjoy the new destinations of Prague, Rome, Gran Canaria and Zante that will be available from next year.’
