Elliott welcomes new jobs for County Fermanagh

Ulster Unionist MLA Tom Elliott has welcomed the announcement of new jobs at G R White and Son, electrical contractors based in Tempo, County Fermanagh. They currently employ 35 people and will be taking on apprentices, qualified electricians and project planners. The family run company has said they want to extend their business in Scotland and Ireland.

Mr Elliott said:

“I am pleased at the news that 20 new jobs will be created in the town of Tempo. It is a great opportunity for local young people to get hands-on experience in the construction sector. I would like to encourage all young people who are interested to get involved in the expanding sector of renewable energy.

"G R White and Son is helping to fill the skills gap in Northern Ireland, and I wish to thank the company for all the new opportunities it is bringing to the people of Fermanagh.

"It is even more pleasing to see a family run business succeed like this, because it has its heart within the local community."
