Ulster Unionist Councillors’ Association pays tribute to George Savage

The Chair of the Ulster Unionist Councillors’ Association, Cookstown Councillor Trevor Wilson, has paid tribute to George Savage who passed away this morning.   

Mr Wilson said:

“I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of George Savage, who I have known for more than three decades.

“George was a valued member of the Ulster Unionist Party and in particular of the Councillors Association whose meetings he attended regularly. I have long had reason to be grateful for his advice and knowledge and his absence will be keenly felt.   

“On behalf of the Ulster Unionist Councillors Association I would like to extend my deepest condolences to his wife Joy and the entire family circle.”
