Ulster Unionist Policing Board Spokesperson, Ross Hussey MLA, has condemned an overnight attack on a PSNI patrol in Strabane.
Mr Hussey said:
"This was a typically cowardly attack by republican terrorists. It was a despicable attack on the PSNI and the whole community. I hope that everyone can come together and unite against these purveyors of death and despair.
"We should all be thankful for the work of the PSNI who protect the whole community on a daily basis and give them our full support. If anyone has information relating to this attack, I would appeal to them to contact the police so that they can put these terrorists behind bars."
