Councillor Copeland said:
“This sectarian, intimidating graffiti is vile. What sort of message does this send out to Protestant interface residents who have already suffered attacks on their homes? Or to the Translink workers who had to pass this sinister message this morning?
“Whoever wrote this message last night should be totally ashamed of themselves. Tensions are already high enough in the area at the minute without some bigots trying to ramp it up. I appeal to anyone who has any information on who was responsible to pass it on to the PSNI.
“I welcome the fact that the graffiti has now been removed.”
