Andy Allen, North Belfast Ulster Unionist, has condemned an attack on the PSNI in North Belfast. A device was fired at a police land rover in Twaddell Avenue last night.
Andy Allen said:
“This was a disgusting attack on Police Officers who go out each day to serve and keep the community safe and it must be condemned outright.
“Those who carried out the attack did so with total disregard for the safety of the community and the carnage such an explosion would have caused. We are lucky no one was injured.
“There is no place in a democratic society for those behind this senseless attack.”
