Ulster Unionist MLAs Danny Kennedy and Tom Elliott have paid tribute to Mairead McAlinden who is stepping down as Chief Executive of the Southern Health and Social Care Trust.
Mr Kennedy said;
"Mairead is a dedicated health professional who provided excellent leadership to the Trust at a very challenging time. She established very good relations with local representatives, was always very professional in her approach to issues and I wish her well in her new appointment.”
Mr Elliott said;
"I would like to add my voice to the many tributes paid to Mairead McAlinden.
“In all my dealings with her in her role as Chief Executive of the Southern Health and Social Care Trust I found her to be extremely professional and helpful, and focused on delivering quality healthcare for the people of the Trust area.”
