Bill Manwaring, the Ulster Unionist Party`s west Belfast spokesperson, has condemned the mindless thugs who carried out a racially motivated hate attack on a man`s home in west Belfast.
Mr Manwaring said:
“I condemn this attack as I have condemned every such hate crime. The resident has been made very aware of the level of support for him within the Greater Shankill Community; these acts are the acts of mindless thugs with nothing to offer but hatred and fear.
“I work with a number of groups across the Greater Shankill, all of whom stand committed against racist, homophobic and sectarian hatred.
“I am very proud of the growing diversity in our community, and will stand and support anyone who feels intimated or threatened by bullies and bigots.”
