Andy Allen, the Ulster Unionist Party`s North Belfast spokesperson, has condemned those who carried out a shooting in the New Lodge area this evening.
Mr Allen said:
"This evening we have seen two shootings within a matter of hours. Those who bring guns onto our streets are not welcome - their actions are nothing short of cowardly."
"I would urge anyone with any information that would help to bring the perpetrators of this cowardly attack to justice to contact the PSNI directly, or to do so anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
