Ulster Unionist MP for Fermanagh & South Tyrone, Tom Elliott, has said he looks forward to working with Neil Somerville as his replacement in the Northern Ireland Assembly.
Mr Elliott said:
“I know from first-hand experience that Neil Somerville is a grafter, and that he will be a committed, hardworking MLA, dedicated to working for all the people of Fermanagh & South Tyrone. He`s from the constituency, he knows the people and after he signs the Member`s Register on Monday, he`ll be straight down to work.
“I`m looking forward to working with Neil and indeed all my colleagues from across the constituency to deliver better politics. We`ll be making sure that the voice of Fermanagh & South Tyrone is heard in every level of government across the United Kingdom.”
