Danny Kennedy, Ulster Unionist MLA for Newry & Armagh, has condemned the latest attack on an Orange Hall in County Armagh. This time it was Belleek Orange Hall in South Armagh.
Mr Kennedy said:
“This is yet another despicable attack on an Orange Hall in County Armagh. This time it was Belleek Orange Hall, last week it was Ballytyrone. All these attacks are disgraceful.
“Those responsible are intent on stoking up tensions before The Twelfth. However despite this provocation, I appeal again for people to remain calm and not to be drawn into doing anything that would play into the hands of the bigots responsible for attacking Orange Halls. I hope the PSNI will renew their efforts to catch those responsible.”
