The Eurozone countries have stark choice to make - Nicholson

Ulster Unionist MEP, Jim Nicholson, has said the Greek vote which rejected the economic terms from the European Union leaves the other Eurozone countries with a stark choice to make.

Mr Nicholson said:

"They will have to decide whether Greece can still remain in the Eurozone or implement the 'Grexit' solution which would mean Greece cutting their economic ties with the EU and going independent.

"The Greeks may have voted democratically on the economic direction they wish to follow, but it is a decision that will impact economically not just within Greece, but right across Europe. The Greeks must live with the consequences.”
