Dobson sends condolences following A1 traffic collision

Upper Bann MLA, Jo-Anne Dobson, has offered her condolences to the families of the three men who were killed on Sunday evening following a two-vehicle collision on the A1 Dual Carriageway between Dromore and Banbridge.

Mrs Dobson said:

“I was deeply saddened to hear of the deaths of three men following a road traffic collision near the Halfway House on the A1 Dual Carriageway.  I send my deepest sympathies and condolences to the family circle and friends.

“My thoughts at this time are also with the lady travelling in another car which was involved in the accident – I send my best wishes to her for a speedy recovery.

“The weather and road conditions at the time of the accident were poor and once again highlight the dangers which exist on our roads.  I would appeal to people to take extra caution on our roads.

“I appeal to anyone who may have information which could be of use to the PSNI as they conduct an investigation, to contact Banbridge PSNI.”
