Ulster Unionist MLA and Policing Board member Ross Hussey has condemned the latest ‘paramilitary’ style shooting in Londonderry.
Ross Hussey said:
“It is a depressing fact that in the summer of 2015, we are still hearing about so called punishment shootings rom armed gangs. I utterly and unreservedly condemn the shooting of the man in Ballymagroarty, Londonderry last night.
“No matter which group carried out this attack, and no matter what their excuse might be, it is totally unacceptable.
“The entire community must put their faith in the Police Service of Northern Ireland to deal with all forms of criminality. There must be zero tolerance of paramilitary vigilantism.”
