Cookstown Ulster Unionist Councillor, Trevor Wilson, has congratulated three of the town’s Royal British Legion branch’s Standard Bearers on winning the Northern Ireland competition in each of their sections.
Councillor Wilson said:
"I would like to pass on my congratulations to Norman Espie, Susan Parke and Rachel McKeown on winning the Northern Ireland Royal British Legion’s Standard Bearer in each of their three sections.
“There is stiff competition to win any one of these, so for one branch to win three is quite unprecedented and a real feather in the cap of the Cookstown branch of the RBL. Well done the Cookstown 3!”
