Dobson meets PSNI Commander over suspicious Banbridge death

Armagh Banbridge & Craigavon PSNI District Commander, Supt David Moore, has met with Upper Bann Ulster Unionist MLA, Jo-Anne Dobson, following reports that the police are treating the death of 85-year-old Banbridge man, Mr Frank Bratley, as ‘suspicious’.

Following the meeting Mrs Dobson said:

“An incident such as this sends shockwaves through what is a tightly knit community and I know personally many of the neighbours and families living in this quiet residential area of the town.

“The community will be shocked by this tragic turn of events and whilst many of us are looking for answers some people may be able to help the police with their enquiries. Having spoken with a number of his neighbours I can also say that Frank was a much loved member of the community and my thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time.

“I would encourage anyone with any information to come forward however insignificant this information may first appear.”
