Ulster Unionist Doug Beattie MC MLA has expressed serious concern at news of a shooting at a house in Lakeview Court, Craigavon.
The Upper Bann MLA said:
“This is deeply worrying news coming through this morning. A family home, with children upstairs in bed, was attacked in the hours of darkness.
“We again are seeing the use of firearms on the streets of Craigavon, and we could well have been facing a fatality here this morning.
“I would encourage anyone with any information to contact the PSNI by phoning 101.
“We cannot allow this behaviour to prevail in our society, in Craigavon or indeed anywhere else."
