Wilson deeply saddened at Cookstown road death

Cookstown Ulster Unionist Councillor Trevor Wilson has expressed his condolences to the family of the young man who was struck by a car and killed in Cookstown in the early hours of Sunday morning.  

Councillor Wilson said:

“Like the rest of the Cookstown community, I was shocked to wake up this morning to the news that another young life had been lost on our roads.  

“Stephen Wilkinson who was only 26, and from the Ardboe area, was struck by a car in Chapel Street in Cookstown at about 03:30 on Sunday morning.

“My thoughts and prayers are with the Wilkinson family at this desperately sad time and my deepest sympathies are with the family and his friends.”
