Ulster Unionists condemn attack on Glenageeragh Orange Hall

Ulster Unionist Assembly Member for Fermanagh and South Tyrone, Rosemary Barton MLA has condemned a recent attack on Glenageeragh Orange Hall, near Augher.

Mrs Barton said:

“Although the damage was minor, those behind this incident have nothing to offer our society, and deserve to face justice. With this being the second Orange Hall in South Tyrone in two weeks being targeted, it is obvious that there are still people who have hate in their hearts towards the Unionist community.

Cllr Robert Mulligan, Mid Ulster Councillor for the Clogher Valley and who lives in the locality said:

"It is unfortunate that we still live in such an intolerant society, that lacks respect for another culture. This hall was used by the wider community in the Augher area and I know this recent attack will have impacted on a number of residents nearby.

“I would call on anyone with any knowledge or information about the incident to contact the PSNI.”
