Alderman Mary Hamilton has welcomed the announcement of the establishment of a Centre of Excellence by Alchemy in the City of Londonderry which will lead to the creation of 250 jobs.
Alderman Hamilton said:
“This is a welcome jobs boost for the City of Londonderry and follows hot on the heels of Danske Bank announcing the creation of 67 jobs in its customer protection centre in the City and FinTru making commitments to further investment in job creation in the north west.
“It is clear that we have the people and the skills necessary to fulfil a wide range of roles. I`m sure that if investors have the confidence to invest in Londonderry and its hinterland they won`t be disappointed by what they get in return – a skilled, talented workforce full of enthusiasm for the future. Hopefully we`ll soon see a lot more.”
