Ulster Unionist MLA Jo-Anne Dobson has Jo-Anne Dobson MLA has condemned those who attacked and robbed a woman in her Banbridge home on Thursday night.
The Upper Bann MLA said:
“Local people are understandably shocked about what happened to this lady and I would encourage them to heed the advice from police to be vigilant and take all basic precautions to secure their homes.
It is an absolute disgrace that people cannot live in safety in their own homes.
“I have been in contact with the local police and would urge anyone who saw suspicious activity around Kenlis Place or the surrounding area on Thursday night to get in contact with Banbridge PSNI station to assist with their on-going investigation of this incident and help to put those responsible behind bars.”
