Rosemary Barton MLA has described the abduction and attack on a senior official of Quinn Industrial Holdings, Mr Kevin Lunney, as a heinous act.
Rosemary Barton MLA said:
“This was an outrageous and heinous attack on a hard-working man going about his daily business, driving home from his work on Tuesday afternoon. Crimes like this must not be tolerated in our society.
"I encourage the PSNI and Garda to act decisively on this crime and bring those responsible to justice.
"My thoughts are with Mrs Lunney and her family during this whole ordeal of not knowing what had happened to her husband and their father, and I wish Kevin a full and speedy recovery from his injuries.”
