The Ulster Unionist Party Leader Steve Aiken OBE MLA said:
“The news that Prince Charles has tested positive for Coronavirus should be a wake up call for anyone who still remains to be convinced that we are all facing a very real threat.
“We obviously wish Prince Charles a speedy recovery, as we do to all those who have been affected. This illness can strike anywhere and against anyone.
“It is therefore imperative that we all follow the rules and restrictions and do all we can, both individually and collectively, to slow the spread of this dreadful virus that is causing so much damage and heartbreak both in Northern Ireland and around the world. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who has been affected.
“There is no room for complacency. Take the advice and save a life.”
