The Ulster Unionist Party Leader Steve Aiken OBE MLA, has sent his sympathy to the family and friends of John Dallat MLA, who has passed away.
Steve Aiken OBE MLA said:
“John Dallat diligently represented the people of East Londonderry both in the Assembly and on the old Coleraine Borough Council - to which he was first elected in 1977 - and this length of public service is itself a remarkable tribute.
“On behalf of the Ulster Unionist Party I would like to send my condolences to his wife and family, and to all his friends and colleagues, both in the SDLP and in other political parties.”
