Suspect device find at UUP councillors home “deplorable” - Elliott

Fermanagh and South Tyrone MLA, Tom Elliott has condemned those who
left a suspect device outside the home of Ulster Unionist councillor
Harold Andrews in the early hours of this morning.

Tom said:

“This latest attack on Harold Andrews is deplorable.  These attacks
are the work of a small intolerant element of people who still wish to
intimidate Protestants out of Rosslea.’
“This suspect device will to a lot of disruption in the area and it
has put not only Harold’s life, but also of anyone passing by in
danger.’

“Harold is an excellent councillor who is working hard for the
community.  Such an attack on Harold and his family is despicable.’

“Clearly there are still some who seek to drag us back to the dark
days of our past.  These attacks succeed only in strengthening the
will of the people to ensure these terrorists do not get their will.’
