I want Northern Ireland to succeed for those generations yet to come - Swann

Marking the Centenary of Northern Ireland, UUP Health Minister, Robin Swann MLA, said:

“Despite the differences of opinion of all those that live here, Northern Ireland is our shared home. There is much to be proud of – our industrial history, our enduring entrepreneurial spirit and the contribution of skills and medical research we continue to make on a global stage.

“I want Northern Ireland to succeed, not only for the current generations but all those yet to come. But we still have work to do to unite our communities and break down barriers.

“So whilst it’s very important that we acknowledge and celebrate Northern Ireland’s Centenary, I also think this year should be as much about looking to the future as the past.”
