Danny Kennedy, Chairman of the Ulster Unionist Party, said:
“The Ulster Unionist Council has unanimously ratified Doug Beattie MC MLA as the Leader of the Ulster Unionist Party. Mr Beattie`s ratification took place at the conclusion of a very positive meeting of the Ulster Unionist Council this evening.”
