Kinahan welcomes consultation process for plans for the future of post-primary schools

Ulster Unionist Education Committee Vice Chair, Danny Kinahan MLA has welcomed the opening of the consultation period for the proposed plans for the future of post-primary schools in Northern Ireland.

Danny said:

“The proposed plans laid out by the Education Minister pose some fundamental challenges which have the potential to transform post-primary education in Northern Ireland.’

“It is vital that parents, teachers and principals now have the opportunity to put forward their opinions on the proposals.  These are the people who have the knowledge of what is best for their children and the community their schools serve so I hope all those affected by the proposals will take part in the consultation process.’
